LEARNING TO PLAY SOCCER
The first step to learning soccer is to buy a good soccer ball-one that is stitched and the proper size for your child. Soccer balls come in different sizes and the size is shown on the ball. It is usually stamped with official size & weight and/or FIFA Approved on it.
The basic skills of soccer are consistent power and control using proven soccer mechanics and skills. Soccer coches recommend creating muscle memory with established practice routines to build skill levels. Players should wear shinguards to every practice and every game and hard surfaces of shinguards should be covered with socks. Bringing a plastic water bottle to games and practices is a good habit for your child.
The key to soccer is having fun while practicing and playing.

Paint Colors
Use your child's bright jersey for paint color
inspiration. Think "in bound" soccer blues, "getting open" hunter greens, stitched soccer ball whites, "man to man" reds, zone defense yellows, select soccer oranges and good sportmanship greens. These colors are easy to mix and match.
